We were fortunate to pick up a couple sets of the 1960 Fleer Baseball Greats. The 1960 Fleer Baseball Greats set contains 79 cards, 78 of which are pre-1960 greats of the game plus a card of Ted Williams who was in his final major league season. The cards are standard size (2 1/2 X 3 1/2) and feature color photos inside blue, green, red or yellow borders. The card backs carry a short player biography plus career hitting or pitching statistics. Players featured in this set include Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Mel Ott, Christy Mathewson, Jimmie Foxx, Carl Hubbell, Tris Speaker, Connie Mack, Mickey Cochrane, Hack Wilson, Cy Young, Honus Wagner and Ted Williams.
