Galasso Baseball All-Time Greats (Circa 1980)

This commemorative issue of 20 cards features some of the greatest players who ever played America’s favorite pastime. The cards measure 2 3/8” x 3 1/2” and are printed in black and white, similar in style to the 1953 Bowman Black and White set. The white-bordered fronts have a black and white photo while the back has a brief description about each player’s career and their lifetime stats. Legends in the set include Roberto Clemente, Duke Snider, Sandy Koufax, Ty Cobb, Willie Mays, Joe DiMaggio, Pie Traynor, Lou Gehrig, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, and Babe Ruth plus 9 other baseball greats. This set makes a nice little complement to any baseball collection.
