2008 Upper Deck Goudey Set

The 2008 Upper Deck Goudey Set combines contemporary players with the design of the original 1934 Goudey cards. The set features 200 of today's biggest baseball stars, players including Dustin Pedroia, Carlos Zambrano, CC Sabathia, Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Braun, Evan Longoria, and Albert Pujols. Also featured in the set are all-time greats like Bobby Doerr, Pee Wee Reese, Billy Williams, and Warren Spahn. Taking a cue from the famed Lou Gehrig Says line across the bottom of the 1934 Goudey set, the 2008 set features Ken Griffey Jr. Says and Derek Jeter Says about today's MLB stars. The card backs feature player stats and a short bio along with an individual achievement, many times coming from early in the 2008 season. Available in sets only.
