This set was produced for use with the travel edition Classic Baseball Board game. The game includes 1 game board, 3 player pieces, 1 die and 50 baseball player cards. The card fronts have red borders, a Classic logo and a beige and black name banner beneath the photo. Backs are printed in red and pink on white and include personal info and major league records.

The set includes Don Mattingly, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens, Cal Ripken Jr., Nolan Ryan and 3 different cards of Phil Niekro all in different uniforms along with many other stars of 1988. Cards in this travel edition are numbered 151-200.
