Larry Fritsch Cards was established on May 1, 1970, when Larry Fritsch,
who was already a well-known pioneer in the hobby and had been collecting cards
since 1948, decided to go full-time in the sportscard hobby. "Larry Fritsch Cards
was born." Through the decades, Larry Fritsch Cards has grown into one
of the most successful and innovating businesses the sportscard hobby has ever
known.
General Manager Jeff Fritsch (Larry's son) has seen to the day-to-day operations of the business over the past 20 years. He has been involved with the business since his youth and is very dedicated to the business. Through the years, Larry Fritsch Cards has produced several sets such as the the Midwest League minor league sets and retro sets of the Negro League and the AAGPBL (women's professional baseball league of the 1940s and 1950s).
To this day, Larry Fritsch Cards prides itself on its inventory consisting largely of vitage card stock along with the quality of cards we sell.
Larry Fritsch Cards produces several catalogs each year featuring our One-Of-A-Kind catalog which lists tens of thousands of vintage cards, and our New Items Catalog which offers new items, reprints and commemorative sets, along with hobby supplies and much more. We try to meet the needs of each customer with quality and efficiency.
Today the company has more than 65 million cards in stock, making it not only the oldest mail-order sports card company in the world, but also the largest.
