1978 Topps Baseball Set

Topps' 1978 offering with 726 cards marked its largest issue since 1972. The color photos are a little larger than normal issue pictures, featuring the team and player's name at the bottom with their positon pictured in the upper-right hand corner of the car in a little baseball. Card backs feature player statistics and a baseball situation which made it possible to play a card game. Legends of the sport in this set include Pete Rose, Carl Yastrzemski, George Brett, Reggie Jackson, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, Jim Rice, and Johnny Bench. Rookie cards included in this great set include Eddie Murray and Paul Molitor!
These are cards that were purchased from Topps in the given year and have been in our warehouse since. These cards have been virtually untouched by human hands, although printing and cutting flaws do exist. We grade these cards in at least excellent-mint to near-mint condition.
