1964 Auravision Records

This series of baseball player picture records is extremely popular with collectors due to the high quality photos on the front and back. On the grooved front side of the 6 3/4” x 6 3/4" plastic laminated cardboard record is a classic full color player photo with facsimile autograph, sports record trophy logo, and 33 1/3 RPM notation. A green border surrounds the photo on the front with a red border on the unrecorded back side. There is a black and white photo on the back along with a career summary and complete major and minor league stats and instructions for playing the record. Auravision Records were a product of Columbia Records and feature a five minute interview with the player by sportscaster Marty Glickman. The records were originally a mail-in premium available through an offer on Milk Duds candy boxes. We have the complete 16 record set along with some singles available. The Mays record is much scarcer than the others.
