One of the rarest OPC sets ever produced, this 231 card set was issued in two series of 132 and 99 cards. Bilingual backs contain 1968-69 and career stats, short biography, and a cartoon-illustrated fact about the player. Some of hockey's all-time greats are included such as Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Bobby Hull, Bernie Parent, Gordie Howe, Jacques Plante, and rookie cards of Tony Esposito and Serge Savard. The overall condition for this set is generally EX-EX+. Card 193 is the version without a number. Card 205 is the version with no number on the front and 214 on the back. About 15 cards from the set have light creases. Cards 12, 30, 108, and 110 have the player's stamp affixed to the reverse of the card. Cards 31, 104, and 132 are marked with black ink.
