Following the purchase of the “remains” of the Exhibit Supply Co. by a collector in the late 1970’s, this set of Exhibits was issued in 1980. The set utilized photos from earlier Exhibit issues in the same 3 3/8” x 5 3/8” size. Each card carries a notation in white at the bottom: “An Exhibit Card 1980” to distinguish them from the older versions. This 32 card set features 30 baseball greats including Richie Ashburn, Ernie Banks, Lou Brock, Lou Gehrig, Gil Hodges, Harmon Killebrew, Roger Maris, Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Brooks Robinson, Warren Spahn, and more along with team photos of the 1948 Boston Braves and Cleveland Indians. Available in two different colors: Sepia or Red.
