This new release celebrates the final team to play in Brooklyn before leaving for greener pastures in California. The 40-card set features all 35 players to play for the Dodgers that season, a manager card, two coaches cards, a team card, plus a special Jackie Robinson retires card. Cards are standard 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” size, with fronts featuring a full-color player portrait with a classic 1950s style design. Card backs are also designed in the style of the era and feature player stats, biographies, and cartoons. The bios also serve as a timeline for the 1957 season. Players from the 1957 Dodger team featured in this set include Pee Wee Reese, Johnny Podres, Don Zimmer, Don Drysdale, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, Sandy Koufax, Roy Campanella, and manager Walt Alston.
