Overview
“Horrors of War” is simply the most famous set of war trading cards ever. Issued in 1938 by Gum, Inc., this set contains detailed and sometimes gruesome color illustrations about the Chinese-Japanese War, the Ethiopian War, the Spanish Civil War, and the violence in Germany that led up to World War II. Card backs give the history about each scene depicted on the front of the card. Set includes cards of world leaders Hitler, Stalin, Chamberlain, Mussolini and more.
