Base set consists of 150 standard size cards featuring a color print of an oil painting of each subject with a cream border. The set includes 31 Baseball Hall of Famers, players like Whitey Ford, Stan Musial, Steve Carlton, Cap Anson, Hughie Jennings, Miller Huggins, Ozzie Smith, Ryne Sandberg, Mike Schmidt, and more. Other Hall of Famers from other sports include Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, Wayne Gretzky, John Elway, Barry Sanders, Jerry West, Larry Bird, and Bill Russell.
